    What makes this shop stand out is the owner. They rent bow and arrows (prices have risen) which you take to Golden Gate archery field. But they also train you first -- stance, how to shoot, target -- an unexpected 20minute lesson that made everything easier. Website is a little janky but just knock on the door and it's a breeze!

    Really solid archery shop with reasonable prices that include all the gear you need for practicing archery. The owner (?), Ed, has always been very patient and kind every time we've visited. He will teach you proper technique and offer some target practice in the shop so that you feel ready to practice on your own. It's conveniently located closeby the Golden Gate Archery range too. (*I know a few people have commented about how the shop is open/closed at random/inconsistent hours. I know for a fact though that Ed has a lot going on recently and I'm guessing he just has not had the resources/know-how to update his hours)

    This is a TERRIFIC shop to rent equipment from. The total cost for each of the sets was a one time cost of 40$+tax and we rented for 3 hours. The equipment had everything we needed (but I'd recommend getting some tape to tape the target onto the sacks at Golden Gate Park). The five of us are beginners and some of us have never shot a bow before. Ed was the man who helped us out, teaching us from scratch for about 30 minutes. He was extremely patient, very thorough and quite funny as well! Highly recommend this shop and this is the kind of shop I'd recommend to anyone and everyone. Shoutout to Ed for being a great coach and setting us up for a great time at the range at GGP!

    A Quick safety and how to class then you are sent on your way to the public park where it's first come first serve for a target spot. Affordable. Easy. And we had a great time. We will be back.
